Presented by Kahuna Research group, The Mountaintops of Mu 7-Day Cruise & Conference (aka the Mu Cruise) is a special conference featuring world class speakers and researchers from around the world, including Peru, the United States and Australia. We currently have 12 confirmed experts and speakers as of January 12, 2014. Group members associated with KRG or USOKS will receive exclusive conference updates, first picks on cruise ship rooms, discounts on shore excursions and other events and access to the conference tour itinerary before other attendees.

Prepare to set sail on a seven day, multi-island cruise to take place aboard Norwegian's "Pride of America" cruise ship that sails inter-island throughout Hawaii, the islands formerly known as Mu, and still considered Mu by others. Attend the daily conferences and presentations held aboard the ship in our own private conference room, then as we stop at the ports on Maui, Kauai and the Big Island, go ashore with the group and visit some of the Island's most notable sites, including an active volcano and many sites considered sacred by ancient and modern Hawaiians.

Visit the Mountaintops of Mu page above for more details and to see the current list of speakers.

UFO Sighting Near Kealakekua Bay on Hawaii Island

12/1/2014

This sighting was reported to KRG on 12/1/2014 via our "Submit a Sighting" page.
Witness: Joe K.
Date & Time of Sighting: October 10, 2014 - 8:10pm
Location: Kealakekua Bay (Hawaii Island)

October 10, 2014 at about 8:10pm. Location Kealakekua Bay on the big island of Hawaii. From our home on Napoopoo Road about a half a mile from the Bay, at an elevation of 265 feet. We saw a very bright white light to the west in the sky beyond the Bay. The light was far brighter then any normal star or planet. At first I thought it might be the landing lights of a jet airliner. But, it was silent and completely stationary. We watched it for about ten minuets. It did not move. There were low clouds that night, slowly moving. After about ten minuets the nearby low clouds began moving behind and in front of the object, partially obscuring the light. This let us get a good sense of the object's location. It was located about two miles offshore to the west and at an elevation of about 1500 to 2000 feet, just a bit higher than the nearby cliff. The object disappeared behind the low clouds for about 15 minuets, and I thought we would not see it again. Then the clouds moved away, and the object was still there in the same location. We watched it for another ten minuets. I looked at it through some binoculars and the light was very bright and had a dazzling, sparkling quality. After about ten minuets of observation, the object began moving slowly north, and we lost sight of it behind the Kealakekua pali. From initial sighting to final sighting, the object had remained in one spot for about 30 minuets, silent, unmoving, and emitting a very bright white light.

The 52 Most Supernatural Places on Hawaii Island

11/21/2014

A few weeks ago, one of our members wrote an article for a travel magazine consisting of the 52 most supernatural places on the Big Island. We've been allowed to re-post the article in its entirety on our Case Log, with the list arranged in a slightly different order than the original, and including new photos and video.

Q: How many of these places have you heard about, or been brave enough to visit? Leave your comments below.

King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel
– Local legend claims that the top floor of this hotel is haunted. People have reported hearing footsteps, chanting, and battle cries. Some even claim to see ancient Hawaiian warrior apparitions. The reason for this haunting seems lie in the fact that this area is where King Kamehameha lived out the end of his life. On the bottom floor of the hotel, in the gallery, there are a row of oil paintings, one being a rendering of Queen Liliuokalani. The unsmiling picture appears to breathe in and out while glaring; leading some to believe the painting itself is haunted.

Saddle Road
– Saddle Road is known for its fair share of the supernatural. Similar to Oahu’s “Pork over the Pali” story, legend says if you carry pork over Saddle Road, now called Daniel K. Inouye Highway, your car may break down or you might experience something supernatural. Some people on the island think that if you see a young girl, especially if she is wearing a red dress, it is the spirit of Pele, the goddess of the volcano. People say they have seen a lone hitchhiker on Saddle Road. Legend says if you see her, you should always pick her up.

Hilo Memorial (“Crying Babies”, “Babies Cry”)
– In an old hospital in Kaumana, Hilo, the hallways of an old burned down hospital sometimes resound with distant, surreal cries. Years ago, a fire scorched the hospital nursery and there were many victims. The shell of the old hospital building still stands, as do the restless souls of the poor victims who still haunt it to this day.
