Kahuna Research Group is a network of researchers, healers, teachers, publishers, seekers & supporting members that use a professional approach to exploring metaphysics in Hawai'i and abroad. Our members take pride in honesty and professionalism because we believe that is the key to establishing a great and lasting relationship between clients, viewers and members. We strive to learn something new with every case and we mesh each other’s various methodology and unique skill sets with good old fashion common sense in order to debunk, disprove or validate each case we receive.
KRG was founded by Hawai'i Island resident & author Zach Royer, simply because there were no other organizations actively exploring the plethora of Hawaiian myths, ghost sightings/stories and urban legends. The group itself officially began on 11/11/11, but the legends and myths we explore go back thousands of years. The group quickly grew and our members furthered their education in the paranormal field by taking the Certified Paranormal Investigators course offered by the Institute of Metaphysics.
Shortly after forming the core group we attracted the attention of Hollywood producers, resulting in us doing an underground investigation for a TV show that aired on the Travel Channel in 2013 called "Legends of Hawaii" in the segment Searching for Pele. Because we attract an audience and we are the only active group pursuing the ancient mysteries of the Hawaiian Island & beyond, Kahuna Research Group continues to be at the forefront of exploring the paranormal in paradise, all while helping to keep the local history & mystery alive.

Our Action:
I. Investigate paranormal sightings and collect the data in the Case Log & Case Files sections for use by researchers worldwide.
II. Publish & promote research of the paranormal to discover the true nature of the phenomenon, with an eye towards scientific breakthroughs, and improving life on our planet.
III. Educate the public on the paranormal phenomenon and its potential impact on society.
In 2014, after three years of solid research and deep contemplation as to where the future of KRG was headed, we began a publishing division dedicated to publishing our research in the form of books, ebooks & newsletters, focusing mainly on anything supernatural, anomalous, metaphysical, or similar, and helping promising writers become newly published authors. This service is available for other paranormal groups, researchers, writers and businesses worldwide.
