What To Do If You Witness Paranormal Phenomena

Ghosts and Spirits...

Picture
Even though haunting-type events can be a bit scary, bear in mind that approximately 90% of all hauntings can be explained by natural occurrences.

Even if your case is one of the few that involves genuine phenomena, don’t panic. Contrary to what you may have seen on TV, ghosts and spirits cannot harm you. View ghosts in the same manner you would view any other human being.

When a ghost or spirit shows up, there is usually a reason. Therefore, it helps to acknowledge the spirit by speaking out to him or her just as you would when a benevolent stranger shows up at your door. Firmly and directly let the spirit know that he or she is trespassing on your property without permission (this is a boundary violation). Do not become emotional nor show fear. Tell the spirit that you are not in a position to help and that you respectfully demand that he or she leaves your home immediately. You may need to repeat your demand if the activity does not subside. Again, vocalize your demands firmly, directly, and without fear or anger.

If the paranormal activity persists, you may need the help of qualified and professional paranormal investigators who can verify and resolve the activity. Click Here to locate a Certified Paranormal Investigator in your state in the Paranexus Directory. If they do not have a member in your area, you should be able to find a local group with an online search. If all else fails, contact us and we'll help find one for you.

It is also crucial that you use the Experiencer's Form attached to this post to document and record the details of your experience and submit them for scientific review. Try not to compare notes with any other witnesses if possible. Be diligent in recording any and all details of the event including what you were doing when the activity erupted and who witnessed it. In any case, do not be afraid.

UFO Sightings...

Picture
As with other paranormal phenomena, the vast majority of UFO sightings can be explained by natural occurrences. Try to rule out stars, aircraft, freak cloud formations, promotional and advertising blimps, balloons, and other types of natural phenomena. For this reason, we have a web page for monitoring live air traffic. If it wasn't an aircraft, you can report it or check to see if anyone else reported in on the live UFO map.

If you have seen something truly strange, use the form attached to this post to document and record the details of your sighting. Be sure to record the direction the craft was going, the event duration, the time of day/night, the approximate angle in the sky, and the shape of the craft.

To estimate size, use common and known units of measurement, such as a football field (100 yards x 160 feet, or 91.4 meters x 48.8 meters). To estimate distance, use known landmark distances for comparison (if available). Understand that estimating distances and altitudes is very difficult (if not impossible) for anyone.

Try to sketch the shape of the craft as best you can while the sighting is still fresh in your mind. To the extent possible, do not discuss your sighting with any other witnesses before investigators have an opportunity to interview everyone. If you do not personally know other witnesses, try to get their contact info in the event investigators want to get their perspective.

Retired Private Investigator recalls supernatural car crash in Kona

3/12/2015

KRG: The following testimony involves heavy supernatural activity in Kailua Kona here on the Big Island and was submitted to us by a retired Private Investigator by the name of Sean S. on May 12, 2014. All Rights Reserved. ©
I'm a retired PI. I conducted investigations involving automobile accidents, both the physical and human aspects. One particular case occurred on Mamalahoa Highway on The Big Island of Hawai'i between Kailua-Kona and Waikoloa. A family of four was returning to Kona and was struck head on by a drunk driver. Three in the family and the offending driver expired at the scene. My investigation commenced the morning after the accident.

I remember a particularly heavy pall at the scene. It was almost difficult to breath and my partner and I felt a sadness not usually felt in our many prior scene investigations. We felt as though someone was watching us. We conducted our investigation like in a fog, moving as if we were dragging weights.

We concluded our scene investigation and proceeded to Keauhou Airport for the return flight back to Honolulu, and the further we drove frome the scene, the less sad and apprehensive we felt. It was disturbing to both of us.

The following day, Friday, I returned to Kona to conduct a physical investigation of the vehicles involved which were stored at the Kona PD impound lot. Again I felt the air become heavy as I approached the vehicles. I did my inspection, noting on audio tape my observations and measurements. Video and stills were also taken. The inspection took about four hours and I returned that afternoon to Honolulu. I secured evidence collected and the film, audio tape and video in secured evidence storage at my office and went home for the weekend.

The following Monday, I returned to my office to sort the evidence and transcribe my audio observations for my report. I switched the recorder to play and heard my voice describing my observations in what seemed to be a labored tone. It was not my normal voice. I continued to listen for about two minutes when suddenly I heard a moaning wail, heart wrenching, painful. I physically jumped out of my chair.

The wailing continued for about three minutes and then the tape audio ceased. No sound. There had been at least two hours of my observations on that tape. The only way I can describe the sound is that of chanting the history of a person at a funeral. It sounded Hawaiian, but I could not recognize specific words, and I'm a 4th generation kama'aina in Hawai'i.

I immediately took the recorder and tape to a person in our office who was known to be in touch with things of a spiritual nature, a blood Hawaiian. His response was swift and with great sadness. "Someone is not letting go!" He said a pule (Hawaiian prayer) over the tape and recorder and advised I return to the accident scene withe the tape and say a specific chant for release in that I had been chosen to hear the wailing.

I will do this. At 72, I will have to do this soon.
