KRG: The following testimony involves heavy supernatural activity in Kailua Kona here on the Big Island and was submitted to us by a retired Private Investigator by the name of Sean S. on May 12, 2014. All Rights Reserved. © I'm a retired PI. I conducted investigations involving automobile accidents, both the physical and human aspects. One particular case occurred on Mamalahoa Highway on The Big Island of Hawai'i between Kailua-Kona and Waikoloa. A family of four was returning to Kona and was struck head on by a drunk driver. Three in the family and the offending driver expired at the scene. My investigation commenced the morning after the accident.

Presented by Kahuna Research group, The Mountaintops of Mu 7-Day Cruise & Conference (aka the Mu Cruise) is a special conference featuring world class speakers and researchers from around the world, including Peru, the United States and Australia. We currently have 12 confirmed experts and speakers as of January 12, 2014. Group members associated with KRG or USOKS will receive exclusive conference updates, first picks on cruise ship rooms, discounts on shore excursions and other events and access to the conference tour itinerary before other attendees.
Prepare to set sail on a seven day, multi-island cruise to take place aboard Norwegian's "Pride of America" cruise ship that sails inter-island throughout Hawaii, the islands formerly known as Mu, and still considered Mu by others. Attend the daily conferences and presentations held aboard the ship in our own private conference room, then as we stop at the ports on Maui, Kauai and the Big Island, go ashore with the group and visit some of the Island's most notable sites, including an active volcano and many sites considered sacred by ancient and modern Hawaiians. Visit the Mountaintops of Mu page above for more details and to see the current list of speakers. This sighting was reported to KRG on 12/1/2014 via our "Submit a Sighting" page. Witness: Joe K. A few weeks ago, one of our members wrote an article for a travel magazine consisting of the 52 most supernatural places on the Big Island. We've been allowed to re-post the article in its entirety on our Case Log, with the list arranged in a slightly different order than the original, and including new photos and video.
Q: How many of these places have you heard about, or been brave enough to visit? Leave your comments below. King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel – Local legend claims that the top floor of this hotel is haunted. People have reported hearing footsteps, chanting, and battle cries. Some even claim to see ancient Hawaiian warrior apparitions. The reason for this haunting seems lie in the fact that this area is where King Kamehameha lived out the end of his life. On the bottom floor of the hotel, in the gallery, there are a row of oil paintings, one being a rendering of Queen Liliuokalani. The unsmiling picture appears to breathe in and out while glaring; leading some to believe the painting itself is haunted. Saddle Road – Saddle Road is known for its fair share of the supernatural. Similar to Oahu’s “Pork over the Pali” story, legend says if you carry pork over Saddle Road, now called Daniel K. Inouye Highway, your car may break down or you might experience something supernatural. Some people on the island think that if you see a young girl, especially if she is wearing a red dress, it is the spirit of Pele, the goddess of the volcano. People say they have seen a lone hitchhiker on Saddle Road. Legend says if you see her, you should always pick her up. Hilo Memorial (“Crying Babies”, “Babies Cry”) – In an old hospital in Kaumana, Hilo, the hallways of an old burned down hospital sometimes resound with distant, surreal cries. Years ago, a fire scorched the hospital nursery and there were many victims. The shell of the old hospital building still stands, as do the restless souls of the poor victims who still haunt it to this day. Compiled by Zach Royer [NOTE: Each photo or video description below (except #3 & #9, which I submitted) comes directly from the eye-witness or photo submitter, and has not been altered or edited in any way.] #1 - I'm submitting this for a friend. From his account of events he was just enjoying the mountainside and decided to photograph it. When he developed the film he found the object. He gave it to me so that I could possibly figure what it is. #2 - Didn't see anything visible, noticed the object a few hours later while going over my days photos. Photo taken at Mookini Heiau, the site was completely deserted except for a very abrasive care taker and my family. I had just walked to the entrance, I was standing just to the right of the Mookini Heiau sign. Photos previous and post, within a few seconds show nothing out of the ordinary. I thought it may be dirt but why would the previous and post photos have no sign of lense dirt. Camera was brand spankin new outta the box. I never saw the object. It looks spherical and is lighter on top than on the bottom. The walls to the right are about 10 feet tall if not taller. #3 - This photo was taken above Pu'u Honua o Honaunau (City of Refuge) on the Big Island by me (Zach Royer). I was visiting the area that day to take pictures for my book, Hawaii Vortex Field Guide. As it usually goes, you capture something strange on film when you least expect it. The object in the top right corner of the photo is an extremely anomalous disk shaped UFO, and it is not the first time I've caught something like this while snapping random shots around the Island. I believe the other object in the water at left to be a boat, however it could very well be another craft, lower on the horizon making it look like a boat. Both have similar shapes. My theory is that these crafts are capable of traveling at such high speeds that we cannot see them with the naked eye, that is, unless they slow down or come to a complete stop. Notice how blurry the object is. |
