Strange UFO captured over North Chesterfield, Virginia October 8th, 2015

The following report was submitted to KRG on January 5th, 2016 via our Submit a Sighting page, and may not be reproduced in any way without the expressed written consent from Kahuna Research Group.

Unidentified Flying Object (UFO)

Details of Sighting: 
"Taken on clear day with s5 cell phone. Zoom in just behind and below the back helicopter had to be seen by helicopters but nothing was said of it or anybody else saw of it that i heard. Can you help to identify it or whats going on. It was on oct. 8 2015 at 4.40 pm" - Matt D., eyewitness

 KRG Analysis:
Thank you Matt for submitting this to KRG for analysis. We're glad to help and offer an interpretation of what we are seeing. Three helicopters are flying in formation and a fourth unidentified object is behind the trailing helicopter. It has been highlighted and zoomed to 500% to enhance. The object is triangular and giving off a shadow or some sort of energy field, presumably from the advanced propulsion utilized by the craft. All or most unconventional aircraft, especially disk and triangular shaped craft, use this type of propulsion to move.

In an attempt to extract more information from the picture, we've processed the EXIF data using the tools found on our Image Analysis Tools page. The ELA below shows the object in question is indeed from the original photo, and not a secondary object added using Photoshop or similar. Additional details confirmed this photo was taken from a Samsung cellular phone.

After closer inspection of the full sized original ELA, we noticed several additional anomalies throughout the photo, some of which are not visible to the naked eye. Three anomalies can be seen with the naked eye in the original photo only after noticing them on the ELA first. The original eye witness only mentioned one object, Object 1.

After knowing where to look in the original photo, the additional objects were noticed, yet faint and barely detectable. KRG is attempting to reach out to the eye witness for more specific location details. Perhaps other eye-witnesses along this flight path noticed something and reported it online.

A quick search for "military bases in North Chesterfield, VA" show numerous installations, Air Force, Army, in the immediate area. The chance that this was a military exercise involving non-conventional aircraft must be recognized. Nothing can be ruled out.
